The world changed dramatically after the waters subsided. One thing did not change. Mankind continued to develop his own plans and schemes to approach God. They followed a particular pattern that is still evident today and repeated throughout Scripture.

The account of the first eleven chapters of Genesis, ends with judgement and a new beginning. The account of Revelation ends with judgement and a new beginning. Genesis and Revelation are bookends in God’s Holy Word.

Beware how you approach God.

1. Do not approach God with covered sin.

2. Do not approach God with calloused hands.

3. Do not approach God with clever plans.
