Whether you’re a service provider, a trainer, a speaker, or a coach, there is a value you assign to your services. That may be an hourly rate (not recommended) or a set rate, but regardless of your rate, the reality is there’s always someone who can provide what you’re offering at a cheaper rate.
If you’re gaining clients based on your pricing, that’s a bad sign. It means they’re evaluating your perspective solely on a price tag, not on the actual value you’re bringing to the table. As a rule of thumb, I avoid prospects who make their decision only based on the price tag.
If you want to attract premium clients, you need to have a premium-quality service and results. Once you have the service and results, then you set a premium price tag to match your value -- and don’t budge. Someone can always do it cheaper, but there needs to be few who can do it better.
