For the life of me, it is one of the most insulting comments that has ever been made to me. That one would think there is some form of obscene gratification gotten from a mother breastfeeding her child. Extended breastfeeding of babies needs to stop being shamed in society as if it is the biggest problem in the world or as if it impacts negatively on a child. All the research i have found leans more towards the opposite! There are many benefits to extended breastfeeding and this podcast is meant to educate anyone who seems to have an averse opinion towards extended breastfeeding.
