I am very happy and energized now. not because of the long-relaxed weekend

I found someone like me, sounds strange, isnt it?

have you ever come across someone like yourself?

everything started when sampat narrated kartik’s story in our evening chat

he talked so highly about this boy with some spiritual power who used to be called baba by loved ones in the neighbourhood

elements of wonder packed in sampat’s memories and it was a  fascinating portrayal of a like minded person

at a young age kartik met with an irish lady and they got married, settled in cork in Ireland

the next part thrilled me more. iyers café was born 10 years ago, kartik’s world

sampat insisted iI should visit him and explore iyers café, our chat ended

still sitting in the car, I went thru the café details and got really charged up

I began to feel some similarities in our life and work. a mirror image feeling

I rang the number I could find on the site, there was no luck for some time

I couldn’t wait, I continued calling and finally i got thru and we spoke finally

I listened to him with amazement, it felt hearing my own story to some extend

kartik runs iyers café with his family and does all cooking himself since the day one

in spite of huge popularity restaurant remains small and personal attention remains same and intense

I was so happy that evening, very proud of karitil’s spiritual approach to cooking

he speaks like a real master and supremely educated on food science, full of purpose

our long conversation ended on a positive note, am sure we will meet soon

for a second i thought, if I had continued cooking and stayed at rasa like kartik, i would have remained with alison and may be few kids!

finding kartik remains one of the miracles of the season and i can’t wait to see where it takes me
