Hebrews chapter 13, beginning at verse 1: “Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing, some have unwittingly entertained angels. Remember the prisoners as if chained with them, those who are mistreated, since you yourselves are in the body also.”
Jesus warned us that in the last days of this world as we know it, because evil will so abound, that the love of many will grow cold. But it should not be so among those of us who know Christ. There is a love from God available to all of our hearts that will express itself in kindness to one another and empathy with those who are suffering. There’s something beautiful about the fellowship of believers. In fact, Jesus told us that it will be the one indisputable evidence to this fallen world that we belong to Him.
Remember, it’s time to pray.
