The last episode of season 1! We discuss ch. 25-end of SONG FOR A WHALE by Lynne Kelly! This story follows Iris, a Deaf middle schooler who feels isolated at school because there aren’t any other kids she can sign to. When iris hears about Blue 55, a whale that can’t communicate with other whales, she wants to find a way to reach out and let him know she’s listening, and might understand what he’s going through. This story is full of ambition, adventure, building community, and strengthening relationships!
