When something bad happens at a school, the students and teachers band together to turn it into something good, learning some valuable lessons along the way. WARNING: this beautifully-written story is about hate speech, no hate speech is used in the story and it is simply described as a “bad something” but I do think the message would be better suited for upper elementary students who can begin to understand the impact that hateful words can have on people and communities.
