If somebody tells you something that will happen 10 years from now, you're likely to forget it.

If somebody tells you something that will happen 10 minutes from now AND it happens exactly the way they said it would, you're likely to never forget it.

If that same person has told you stuff about the future, now you're actually looking for it.
