The book of Romans, chapter 8 and verse 18, where the apostle Paul says these words, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.“
Sometimes we spend so much time looking down in despair and looking ahead with trepidation that we forget to look up to the wonderful promises that await us forever. Paul declares that if we could fully grasp this, that it would unfocus us from our present trouble and bring gladness to our hearts; just at the thought of what and where you and I will be forever.
Today I encourage you, look up, your redemption is closer to you now than when you got up this morning. Something is happening all around you. Let it bring gladness to your heart.
It’s time to pray!
