Some things look and sound spiritual or godly, but there's something missing. Recognizing the influence of the religious mindset is about recognizing what is missing. 

*And as promised, here's the recipe for ButterNut Cake! 

Cake Ingredients: 

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 Tbs "butter and nut" flavoring (found on Amazon if your local store doesn't have it) 
1 c. milk 

Frosting Ingredients: 

1 stick butter
1 box confectioners sugar
1 8 oz cream cheese
1 Tbs butter and nut flavoring 
1 c. chopped pecans 

Directions: 

Cream the butter, sugar, and eggs together with mixer on high speed for 10 minutes. Add 1 c. flour and beat 1 minute on medium speed. Add the rest of the flour and then add the flavoring. Mix together. Bake in 3 layers at 350 degrees. Let cool. Combine frosting ingredients, mix and frost cake. Enjoy!
