What is the church doing to amplify Jesus today? What have you done to amplify your life with Jesus and make a difference in the World and in the lives of others? Pastor Ted is reminding you, that Jesus cannot be Amplified (increased) in the church or in your life, until something in your life is removed or changed (decreased). Why? You are the church and He must increase as you decrease!

As believers, do not allow the world to ‘smother’ your role to touch the lives of others for Jesus. You are not saved solely to go to heaven but rather to be able to introduce others to Jesus. Likewise you do not have a job just to get paid, you have a job to touch the lives of others for Jesus at the workplace - make a difference where you are.
