I just started teaching again for fall semester a few weeks ago. Even though I have been teaching for 20 years, I had two different first day of school dreams. The ones where everything seems to go wrong. Yet, one dream in particular, seemed to have a lesson to teach me. How often do you get stuck in your agenda and schedule and forget to pause when someone needs help? This must be a real struggle of mine, because my dream reminded me to pause and be more flexible in my service to the lost one. Matthew 18:12 "What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?
