Jude wrote, "Of some have compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”  But is there a third category?  The answer is a resounding, "Yes!"  Even in his little letter, Jude spoke of apostates who were/are beyond hope.  It isn't compassion or confrontation that is appropriate in such cases, instead it's condemnation.
