1. Trust the God’s Character more than my circumstances.
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
Psalm 119:105 (NASB95)
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
Isaiah 5:20 (NASB95)
Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me.

2. Desire God’s presence more than my comfort.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
