Son Continues His Father's Role in Keeping Tampa Safe

In this episode, a father and son share their perspectives on how law enforcement has impacted their careers and personal lives.  Retired Tampa Police detective Kevin Durkin, and his son Officer Kyle Durkin chat about the generational differences they've experienced as officers. 

The father and son team also talk about the City's growth and its impact from a law enforcement point of view on keeping neighborhoods safe.

Detective Kevin Durkin retired from the Tampa Police with 27 years of service.  He now works as a sergeant at the Tampa International Airport Police Department.  His son Kyle started his law enforcement career as a dispatcher and worked at two different agencies before following his father's footsteps as a Tampa Police officer.
