In this episode of Son of the North, Rex dives in to the wonderful fantastic world of "the Moomins" - a Children's Book Series by Finnish author Tove Jansson that explores themes of rural traditional living, living in harmony with nature and the land, and the blurring of the lines between family and community. In the first half of the Episode, Rex explores Indo-European Pagan, Neotribal and Traditionalist themes within the Moomin books. In the second half of the Episode, Rex examines the character of the wise vagabond Snufkin and highlighting Snufkin's parallels with Sol and other Indo-European deities and heroic archetypes. Throughout the show, Rex invites his listeners to reflect on how children learn through media like "The Moomins", and how the stories we read influence how the next generation shall navigate through life in the Kali Yuga.
