SONA Cannabis regulations can lead to economic transformation

During the State of the Nation Address on Thursday last week President Cyril

Ramaphosa gave a green thumbs up for #cannabis farming, and writing up regulatory

framework for medicinal marijuana products.

He also announced plans to regulate the commercial use of hemp products, stating this

would provide opportunities for small-scale farmers. It was high time that South Africa’s

lawmakers passed new laws to do so.
