Gilbert Morris is a talented writer
We gave this to our grandson along with all the others in the set and he started reading them right away. He is a great fan of Gilbert Morris. He also noticed that characters from other books are also mentioned in this series.
A fantastic series.
What becomes evident is the amount of detail and accuracy in describing the era, the houses, clothing, and of course that adds to the marvelous characters' great credibility~

Good book about Revolutionary War period.
An inspiring novel of American Patriotism
This is the second book of the Liberty Bell series. The book shows the tension that war sometimes causes, Daniel Bradford, an American patriot, is fighting on the opposite side of his beloved sister Lyna Lee's British officer husband, Gordon. Both men are shown as men of character and conviction, as sometimes is the case in war. The book highlights the sons of Daniel and Gordon, who serve their countries with conscience in their own ways, and with different convictions. This is a book that is rich in patriotism and faith in God. well done!
