Nice book! Nice tools
In the first chapters, the author spends a lot of time just making promises, which makes the reading flow a bit slowly, but he really honors his promises and delivers what he said he was going to. Nice book! Nice tools!

Gives Your Art A Structure
I really dug this book. As a bucket list songwriter, the formulas made me feel more creative. As he describes in the book, he helps you take your imagery from 2D to 3D. There are examples by Genre and topic. I'm also using his concepts for corporate storytelling and writing - Tension & Release, Great Titles, Hook, etc...they all apply in my work life as well. This gave me double duty.

Brilliant! I am not a song writer, yet through his descriptions and action steps, Simon Hawkins makes clear the road to take in writing lyrics. As a new author, I followed along applying much of his process to writing and found a helpful reminder: stay in 3 D! Works for song lyrics,
which are just great stories if done properly, and works for writing your book. Well done!
