South African born Zarni deVette attended Berklee School of Music in Boston, lived in Seattle and Austin, and finally made it to Nashville to pursue a career in the music business as a songwriter and producer.  It wasn't an easy path to success with her hit song  "Somebody Does,"  by rising duo Tiger Lily Gold.
