For me music is like a river flowing into the ocean, just as the fresh water flows into the salt water, there is a change, a mix of the elements, a channeling of two substances to make one.

This to me is like Jazz, the more I hear it and delve into it, the more I am enveloped by it's charms, its freedoms and constraints and it's ability to mix musical substances into something greater.
