Performing non-stop since 1979, Maurice Aucoin has established himself as one of Halifax’s most venerable artists. In 2019 he celebrated 30 years fronting his very well known, energetic band, The Persuaders. Along with his duties with the band, he has also established himself as an accomplished songwriter and has had his music featured regularly on regional and national radio. As a solo performer, he is currently promoting new material that will be featured in upcoming solo releases.

In 2020 he started his own weekly Livestream Program called ‘Moe's RoundABout' featuring various artists and interacting live in the studio.
