Sonia Perna | She's a Pyro | Custom Wood Burning | 331 | thamichaelated
Sonia joins us tonight as we dive into her interesting journey of Pyrography and custom wood burning. She talks about how it all started during the pandemic while scrolling through Pinterest and buying her first woodburning tool and getting better with it before moving up to a more professional one almost a year later. She tells us how sketching and embroidery were her interests growing up but were left behind and now her pyrography has helped her amalgamate all her previous passions as she creates her own designs and draws inspiration from the world around her. Sonia mentions how she's constantly learning with every design, strives to be better each time and ultimately wishes she can draw faces and create personalised artworks for people.
We also speak about Making Fun by Jimmy DiResta on Netflix as we discuss the creative process of creating art and Netflix's anti-password sharing policy.
