Episode 20 - Sonic Weaving w/ WHAIA

WHAIA calls from the South, a Ngati Kahugnunu manawahine of Aotearoa, known as the ‘land of the long white cloud’.  Her roots, the land and her Aboriginal Grandmother of the Yindjibarndi people forever soaked into her skin.  Drawing from her cultural practices and musical intuition WHAIA coined the term ‘Sonic Weaver’ and formed the ‘Sonic Weaver Sound Sanctuary’ teaching platform sparking a transcendent vocalist, global alchemical performer, First Nations multi-instrumentalist, designer, Creative Cultural Producer and artist, making this woman one powerhouse mama.
