Scot Gresham-Lancaster  shares stories and recordings from a lifetime of being an internationally recognized avant garde composer and innovator in sound design and sound technology.  Scot talks about what is popularly known as sonification, he likes to call "listening to data".  We listen to some amazing recordings as examples of his early pioneering in this amazing field.  This episode was cut short by a technical snafu, so be sure to catch the continuation of our conversation in Part 2.
