Dark Forest
My heart's dark night is not a quiet black
The nightingale sings lonely to itself
Cold blowing wind through wooded depths awake
To water through the choking kelp of time
On floor of ocean near to my red room
Green bedding shines a city on a hill
Like lonely alabastor elephant
In forest strange and overgrown with tombs
Blue bridal chambers and my love is dead
And gone to underworld not far away
Where always strikes the four upon the hour
Emerged, the coastal air informs my twin
Blind visions of oblivion so kind
Its genesis leaves me, it's kin, behind
