A Mid-week Musical Interlude

Sonorous Organ Selections with William Peterson

Listen Later

We are delighted to present two organ selections this week, performed on the C.B. Fisk (Op.117), Hill Memorial Organ by College Organist William J. Peterson from his CD “Recital at Bridges Hall.” The first is Alexandre Guilmant’s Choral, Op. 49, No. 3, composed in 1876, and it is followed by Jacques Ibert’s Choral: Justorum animae in manu Dei sunt from an anthology published in 1921. We are grateful to Loft Recordings, LLC for granting the Music Department permission to use tracks from Loft Recordings LRCD-1140, “Recital at Bridges Hall,” William J. Peterson, organ, for this podcast. Copyright 2019 Loft Recordings, LLC. All rights reserved • www.gothic-catalog.com
