Rock and Roll Hall of famer, Woodstock performer and Lovin Spoonful founder John Sebastian says the song that came quickest to him was “Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind”, written on the back of a pack of Lucky Strikes cigarettes in a taxi, on his way to a songwriting session. And yes, it was a real life story from when he was 17 and at summer camp!
