Shelli Sonstein's Sessions Terry Horniacek checked in the doomed flight crew on United Airlines Flight 93 on 9/11 20 years ago. She was on the phone with them as two flight attendants comforted doomed passengers while others , along with hero passengers, filled a cart with full bottles of soda to attack the hijackers in the cockpit. Horniacek suffered a complete breakdown some 4 months later . She also fell into drug addiction. This is a woman who lost 17 years of her life after 9/11. Terry Horniacek started a journal on 9/11, updating it through her struggles over the years, resulting in her just-published book “My 9/11: Through inflight eyes”.
