I’m reading to you today from the gospel of Matthew chapter 25, verses 8 and 9, “And the foolish said to the wise, ‘give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘no lest there should not be enough for us and you but go rather go to those who sell and buy for yourselves.’”

How foolish it is to make no provision for the darkness just ahead. Knowing that light fades each evening, we make provision to have light in our homes. We check our lamps. We keep fresh batteries in our flashlights, and even store spare candles, but what provision have you made to have light in your soul?  We’ve been warned about the deep spiritual darkness to soon cast its shadow over this entire world. You need to be ready. It’s coming sooner than you think.
