Sooth Music Scotland

Listen Later

We're back after a week off as JB is joined by singer, David from Sooth who can be found on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube under (SoothmusicScotland).

David gives us an insight in to the band's sound and talks about the recent EP release, 'Six Months On' which was released in March. Make sure to check it out.

The band split up in 2009 and we get an insight in to how the music industry has changed since then and discuss the impact that social media has had.

We chat a fair bit about the impact that Biffy Clyro has had on the Scottish music scene over the last 20 years or so and make sure to listen till the end for a cracking story from David about seeing them in New York.Once again we urge people to support smaller venues and encourage everyone to go and see emerging artists which is cracking value for money.

As is tradition we round up with some quickfire questions.

Thanks to our sponsor, Arty Burgers (www.artyburgers.com) who are kindly offering 20% off their fantastic range of music prints, mugs and more using code THESOUNDOFTHEBAR to UK listeners.
