Sophia Barkhouse is an indie singer-songwriter who blends elements of jazz and pop into her beautiful debut single, 'Envy'.

Not only did I get to interview her for today's episode, but I also have the ultimate pleasure of opening for her at Flicker Bar & Theater in Athens, GA on Friday, February 24th!

We got to discuss her songwriting process, the collaborative mindset, target gift cards, the first time we listened to Frank Ocean's 'Blonde',  and her inevitable return to the bluegrass music of her youth.
