Sophia Gad-Nasr is a PhD candidate in cosmology and astro particle physics at the University of California in Irvine. Her work focuses on figuring out how the Universe came to be what it is today, primarily via studying dark matter and galaxy evolution. Sophia is also an avid science communicator who loves to share mind-blowing facts about the mysteries of the Universe with the world.
