In this episode we cover more about Freud's approach to interpreting dreams with the use of his own dream that he had of a patient named Irma. In learning more about his dream, we are able to recognize the many Freudian concepts – such as displacement, condensation, and repression – that are apparent in his dream. In addition, we are able to uncover the many unconscious thoughts and feelings Freud had with his patients, further helping us to reflect back on our own dreams and consider what they really mean.
