In 2016, Sophie de Boer won the overall cyclocross world cup series. The following season, she was feeling tired and unhappy, and stopped her season early due to what was diagnosed as overtraining. On this episode, pro cyclocross racer Sophie shares how she bounced back from that period and how she's now happier and more motivated than ever on the bike. She explains to us how she got to this point and talks about overtraining and how this term doesn't really do justice to the condition she was in. She explains the importance of feeling happy, and how she thinks it is important to practice controlling how we feel, as this can have a big impact on what happens to us. Finally, we also talk about how she started in the sport and discuss why the Dutch Women are so good in cyclocross.
