Betty tells us of her recollections of owning and running the newsagents at Besses o' th' Barn with her brother before the construction of the M60 motorway in 1970. The interview took place at All Saints Church in Whitefield with organ music playing in the background and many people exhibiting photos of Whitefield and Besses of the past.
