Remember Captain Kirk and Spock?  Although they were sailing the galaxy and not the seas, there is something we can learn from them as leaders.  Kirk being all human, was emotional first, then logical, and Spock being half Vulcan and half human but more logical than emotional, so when we look at leader vs. coach, we have to know what hat to put on to manage the crisis, and map the course to your final frontier.
