Soubry Says Alcohol in Military Bars Should Not Be More Expensive

Anna Soubry, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans, has said that alcohol in military bars should not be more expensive.
She faces opposition from Labour MP Madeleine Moon - who says she got the "fright of my life" when she was charged only a pound for a triple gin and tonic while visiting forces in the Falkland Islands two years ago. She's calling for an end to what she calls the "high level of subsidy" enjoyed at military bars.
