Personality tests are often treated as truth markers. Myers-Briggs. Enneagram. Labels meant to explain who someone is and how they move through the world. And yet, for many people on a spiritual path, these systems begin to feel incomplete or even inaccurate over time.

As survival patterns unwind, ego identities soften, and old coping strategies dissolve, the personality that once felt defining may no longer exist in the same way. What remains underneath is not a fixed type, but something far more fluid, spacious, and alive.

What happens when the life you've built no longer fits the woman you're becoming? Maggie joins us today on the precipice of one of the biggest decisions of her life: leaving her marriage of nearly twenty years. She loves her husband, she honors the life they've created together, and yet she knows, deep in her bones, that they are no longer matched for her next chapter. What unfolds in our time together is a conversation about what it really means to choose yourself first; not from selfishness, but from devotion.

As we go deeper, we explore the energetic equation of unplugging from the institution of marriage and what it looks like to set your own foundation before building something new with someone else. Maggie is feeling the pull toward a new relationship, toward being held and nourished and loved in a way that has been absent for a long time. And rather than making that wrong, we hold space for both truths: the desire for connection and the invitation to root into who she is on her own two feet. A meaningful spiritual life is not something that arrives fully formed. It unfolds through willingness, presence, and devotion to the path itself. 

Much of the struggle comes from wanting clarity before movement, certainty before trust, and answers before experience. Yet, my love, life does not reveal itself all at once. It reveals itself through participation. 

The journey is not something waiting in the future after healing, success, or worthiness is achieved. It is already happening through every choice, challenge, and moment of attention. When the expectation of arrival dissolves, the nervous system softens, intuition strengthens, and life begins to move with greater coherence. Growth happens not by escaping discomfort, but by allowing experience to become the teacher. 

Every phase, including confusion, resistance, and upheaval, carries intelligence. The path deepens the moment responsibility is reclaimed and the reins are taken consciously rather than reactively.

Episode 252: What Are You Willing to Risk to Live the Life You Love?

Periods of uncertainty often feel heavy, disorienting, and unstable, yet they are also powerful portals for transformation. 

When systems contract, creativity expands. When certainty dissolves, new paths become visible. The question that arises in these moments is not what feels safe, but what feels true. 

Living in devotion to what you love requires a willingness to risk outdated structures, familiar discomforts, and identities shaped by fear rather than alignment. Much of what keeps people stuck is not a lack of desire, but a pattern of choosing distraction, delay, or comfort over soul-led action. 

These choices show up in small daily moments and in life-altering decisions alike. When attention turns inward and responsibility is reclaimed, clarity returns. From that place, sensation becomes guidance, discomfort becomes information, and devotion becomes a lived practice rather than an abstract idea.

Mental clarity and physical wellbeing can be deeply cultivated, and still something continues to loop beneath the surface. Old patterns resurface, familiar emotions flood the body, and the same inner reactions repeat despite years of conscious work. 

Energetic health lives in the layer where these loops originate, outside of linear time, stored not as stories but as programs within the body’s field. When energetic care is prioritized alongside mental and physical practices, the body is no longer forced to protect through outdated survival responses. 

Shame, fear, judgment, and inner criticism are revealed not as personal flaws, but as intelligent signals asking for an update. 

Through energetic awareness and intentional repair, the body becomes an ally rather than a battleground, allowing life force, intuition, and spiritual connection to move freely again. 

This is the level where true integration happens and where long-standing patterns finally soften, reorganize, and release.

What if the next step on your path isn’t just about clarity, but also about care? Emily joins us today in the midst of a beautiful in-between. Physical health is not separate from intuition, spirituality, or purpose. 

The human body is an ancient, intelligent vessel shaped by millions of years of evolution, designed to hold consciousness, receive guidance, and move life forward. And yet modern culture encourages disconnection, numbing, overexertion, and dissociation rather than true relationship with the body. 

Physical embodiment is a non-negotiable foundation for healing, intuition, and collective evolution. When trauma, conditioning, and energetic damage are tended, the body becomes a place the soul can safely inhabit. 

From this place, clarity emerges, purpose becomes felt rather than forced, and partnership with the earth becomes lived rather than conceptual.

Throughout my life I have been guided by the warrioress archetype, an independent female spirit whose primary purpose is to achieve freedom and sovereignty of her life. This was not always a conscious endeavor for me, yet she pulled at my heart and led me on adventures far and wide and wild. She has taught me to live by spirals and wheels and cycles. To live each day as a ritual, knowing that I am the source of my life. Everything comes FROM me and that my obstacles are actually the path to living an even greater and wilder existence. Gratitude often depends on feeling safe in the body and in the world. 

Survival mechanisms developed in early life shape the nervous system, creating constant vigilance for danger and making full presence difficult. Even simple joys, like the sunrise or favorite foods, can be overshadowed by ingrained survival patterns.

Healing these patterns and integrating these parts allows for deeper presence and authentic engagement with life. Habituated nervous system responses can be acknowledged without judgment, creating space to lean into gratitude and awe. 

I’m sharing my favorite practices that reconnect with body, root, and earth support grounded safety, opening the heart to fully receive and share love.
