On this week's podcast, I'm joined by Harry from Hudson Taylor to discuss their new single 'Where Did It All Go Wrong?' from the number one album 'Loving Everywhere I Go'. Irish brothers Harry and Alfie Hudson-Taylor wrote the prolific song about a year ago, questioning their lives and relationships, which resonates now more than ever.
I chat with Harry about the music industry's reaction to COVID-19 lockdowns, writing a sophomore album, exploring mindfulness, meditation and his reading list.

Dagny Norvoll Sandvik grew up in a musically gifted family in Tromsø, Norway however it wasn’t until later that she truly found her passion for songwriting when she moved to London in her early twenties.
Her climb to international attention was meteoric, following the release of Backbeat in 2015. Since then she has grown to become one of Norway’s most exciting artists, live performers and songwriters – with over 450 million streams amassed, sold out tours, and critical acclaim by everyone from Nylon and Billboard to The Guardian and Harpers Bazaar, within the span of just a few short years. Carrying on this unstoppable momentum, Dagny’s debut Ultraviolet EP received unanimous praise from critics with features such as Billboard’s 10 Pop Stars To Watch In 2017, and VEVO’s Ones To Watch 2017.
She joined forces with SEEB in 2018 to deliver the hit Drink About – a track streamed over 200 million times by 2019, recently winning an award for most streamed and most played song in Norway. From working with world-renowned producers such as Steve Aoki to co-writing for Katy Perry, it’s clear that Dagny is on the precipice of stardom - if not, there already.
Dagny’s latest single ‘It’s Only A Heartbreak’ comes from her long-awaited second half of her debut album ‘Strangers / Lovers’ which is set to release on Friday, October 2nd.

This week, we're joined by MD of Good Seed PR - Linda Coogan Byrne. In a report published in June, Linda uncovered a glaring disparity between male and female artists featured on Irish and UK radio stations. Not only did most Irish radio stations commonly feature just one Irish female artist in their top twenty most-played tracks, but the most played female act was also the only black artist featured in the entire report: Soulé. We chat to Linda about her findings and what's next for her campaign.
To raise awareness of this bias, Linda has launched a GoFundMe campaign for 'Why Not Her?': https://www.gofundme.com/f/why-not-her

Following the release of Nealo's debut EP 'October Year' in 2018, the former Frustration vocalist quickly captured the attention of Ireland's music scene. With several sold-out headline shows, an impressive festival run last summer and pivotal singles such as 'Just My Luck' under his belt, Nealo now prepares to release his full-length album 'All The Leaves Are Falling'. His openness and transparency lyrically strongly resonates with listeners, unafraid to tackle society's glaring issues including friendship, tragedy, drug abuse and emigration.
