Rishi’s story begins where many transformations do: with fatherhood, and a reckoning.
After years navigating alcohol addiction and mental health challenges, the birth of his son shifted how he understood life, purpose, and responsibility. Healing stopped being private. It became directional.
At age five, his son was diagnosed with a speech and language delay, struggling to communicate and process words. Instead of accepting silence, Rishi turned to creativity, writing a song called Speech Bound. That song became a bridge. His son began to speak.
This journey led to the creation of The Speech Heroes, the first superhero brand designed specifically for children with speech and language delays. Inspired by his son, and created for the 2 million children across the UK facing similar challenges.
Rishi is now preparing to release his first children’s book, The Speech Heroes vs. The Word Stoppers, extending this mission through imagination, storytelling, music, and character-led learning.
At its core, this is a movement rooted in creativity, inclusion, empathy, and empowerment, supporting children, parents, educators, and therapists alike.
True success, Rishi believes, isn’t measured by what you accumulate.
It’s measured by how many people you help find their voice.
