An ex-salesperson might mentally reframe a store display. Being an ex-anything requires adjustments. Thanks to the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus, we will always be God’s child. Remnants of previous years might creep in under the obvious budget

and schedule changes as we move through aging. However, beneath the echoes of our former self we will always experience contentment as a child of God, nestled in His comforting arms.
