In this month's episode of Spiritual Recovery: The Podcast, host Caitlin M. interviews South Carolina youth director, Carrie Coleman, about her journey towards recovery, her relationship with her higher power, and how her faith encouraged her to remain willing in all that she walked through. Carrie is open and honest about her struggles with alcoholism as well as her relationship with the church and her youth group in hopes of encouraging others who struggle with addiction but have yet to find a safe space to talk about it. Carrie, before taking on a high school youth group, worked for a Women's College where she not only addressed her own struggles, but helped students walk through theirs.
