Bali has been known as the 'Island of the Gods' for millennia. The rich culture and Spirituality has been a draw for millions of tourists who flock to this island from all over the world.
In this episode I share about  'Melakut' - the water purification ceremony that my family and I experienced during my recent trip to Bali, and the 'Kecak Fire dance', which is a spectacular event held at the beautiful cliffside temple of Uluwatu. These 2 experiences will give you a peak into a culture that I lived in for 19 years and took part in as a wife of a high cast Balinese.
While Bali has many Spiritual aspects which are truly inspiring, I also share some of the darkness of Bali that few know about.
