Tebogo Arthur Makgoba known by fans and the music world as “REGALO Joints” embarked on his journey in the entertainment industry in 2009 when he started working at a local radio station. The station formerly known as “Top Stereo”, now Tshwane FM is located at the TUT main Pretoria West Campus and has played a pivotal role in kick starting the career of the ever-intrigued DJ and Producer… REGALO Joints is originally from a small town called “Atteridgeville” in the west of Pretoria.

With popularity growing around his work on the radio he explored events as a promoter for Universities in and around “Gauteng”. He has worked together with teams to give life to events such as “Fresher’s Ball” and “Spring Bash” for TUT, Medunsa and CJC to name a few. He received mentorship from “Groovement Productionz” as he was actively involved in the conceptualization and organization of events such as the annual “Mental Shut Down” and “Spring Break”

In 2012 REGALO who was the known as “DJ GraveYard” was inspired by artists on stage to launch a music career of his own.

At this point both his brand and company were souring, giving birth to his media company Fat Catz Productions for events and cooperate business and “Fat Catz Music” as record label for music and entertainment. In 2014 REGALO Joints career reached new frontiers after winning the “NTN Radio Award” at the Sandton for “The Best Afternoon Drive Show”

In 2016 the known DJ “GraveYard” was involved in a car crash while working on a follow up project. “GraveYard” spent most of his 2016 in hospital and recovery from home. He since hen saw a gap in “Deep Tech” and “Afro Tech” genre and decided to enhance his production skills in that area and that was the birth of all new DJ/Producer “REGALO Joints”. The string of his next releases would pave way to his new home in music Cadence Cartel in Collaboration with Fat Catz Music. His second solo Studio album “INTROSPECTION” is an interpretation of the transition he went through as both musician and person.
