It was early March, and Zack Kaudjak was crossing the open snow-laced fields of the Yukon River with his twelve-dog Iditarod sled team. The race is a great distance to travel for a lone teenager, and an emotional one that reconnects Zack with his passed on loved ones. He is challenged with life lessons of scratching the race but emerges as a wise leader, to try again with less risk to his team. Full credits at Coffee Contrails.
