Sound doctrine is

As the rain: it comes drop by drop, beginning slowly and increasing more and more until the whole revelation is complete.

As the dew: it descends gently, silently, and mysteriously upon the heart and ear, moistening and bringing refreshment.

As the small rain: it brings sweeping showers accompanied by a strong gust of wind.

As the showers: its like continual rain which is necessary for the planting and harvesting of crops.
