Transcription of the show
Hello, and welcome to another episode
of The Property Voice podcast. My name is Richard Brown and as always, it’s a
pleasure to have you join me on the show again today.
So, we started out on a short journey
in November and finished at Kings Cross Station last Saturday as a small group.
Therefore, I just wanted to spend a few minutes today sharing what the TPV
Apprentice Programme is all about and how the guys found it.
Property Chatter
The Apprenticeship combines a
mentoring and masterminding programme all in one, so you get to learn in a 360-degree
way. This is best suited for those who want to commit to a fast-track programme
over a 100-day period to help shape and drive their property business. You can
be new to property, experienced or just want a boost to your journey too. It
has the following components:
Situation Analysis
Talent/WealthDynamics Assessment
MonthlyGroup Mastermind Calls
Regular1-2-1 Mentoring Check-In Calls
FullDay Final Group Springboard Event
ProjectSite Visit(s)
Guestspeakers selected to complement the unique blend of requirements of each
Programme
Ad HocSupport, network intros, etc. (as required)
CommunityHub (Basecamp)
The objective is to get you a viable
vision, business plan and strategy where you will be actioning and achieving
results by the time the 100-day programme concludes, ready to springboard onto
the next phase of your journey with greater momentum.
Delivery is via a mixture of virtual,
on-site, online and live events to give you a mixture of different learning and
development methods, alongside Richard Brown as the mentor and facilitator and
your fellow Apprentices as mastermind peers.
Who is it best suited for? Those who
want more than a short ‘what’s my strategy’ assessment and instead want to dive
into their property business in a committed manner over a 100-day period. Those
with or without property knowledge, with or without time (although you WILL need
to dedicate some time to the programme!) or with or without money. This option
allows a deep, fast & immersive experience to propel your property business
forward by combining mentoring with masterminding principles.
In an attempt to be ‘inclusive’, there
is a very clear value to this programme that could be paid as a fee, as a
‘value-exchange’ or a combination of the two. This means that you can receive tailored
education aligned to your current resource strengths in what is probably one of
the most innovative learning and development programmes currently available in
and guidance from into your personalised property business plan from an
experienced property investor
Deepunderstanding of yourself and others to be able to pitch to everyone,
learn what your blind spots are and bring in the ‘wingmen’ needed to
ensure your success.
Mastermindwith a small group of peers to generate support and accountability…and
even business partnership opportunities..
Amixture of virtual, online, on-site and live events to ensure variety,
value and maximum time efficiency in the programme.
Fromreview => planning => committed action => results – this is an
action and results-based programme, not a talking shop!
Achoice of payment options of a fee, a unique ‘value exchange’ option…or
a combination of the two, designed around you and your particular
resources.
Potentialto partner not only with your peers but also with me potentially if that
works for all parties. In TPVA1 we had four apprentices, who in a variety
of ways, agreed to work among themselves and also in some cases directly
with me by the end of the programme. This is not essential, but it could
be bloomin useful!
Next, the strategies and some
achievements of the Apprentices.
So, we had people that had little or
even no money to invest at all on this programme and also one or two that
either realised they had enough behind them or could set aside to achieve their
goals, or perhaps needed a little push to stretch a little further.
Some looked at completely new
strategies, including deal sourcing and project management, holiday lets and
funding other investors and developers. Whilst some old favourites or reminders
to stick to what you already know were reinforced, with BTLs, BRR, flips and
title splits being adopted.
Each of the Apprentices developed and
refined their own property business plans during the programme and were
actively implementing what they had set out to do in terms of business and
personal development by the end. There was new learning, breakthrough moments
and sharing across all members of the group – this is not just a 1-2-1
mentorship, although there was a lot of that going on as well.
We had guest speakers and
contributors that looked at personality profiles, a talk from a full-time
property investor and also a real-life JV partner too. So, I tried to tailor
the content to fit the unique blend of requirements that the group
required…next time this could be different.
In all honesty, I did not really know
how this would turn out when I set it up, but it has surpassed my own
expectations and as you are about to hear, those of the Apprentices as well.
I truly believe this is the start of
something bigger and the Apprentices themselves designed what will follow on
from the initial 100-day programme, which future apprentices can also take part
in. I strongly suggest that you watch this space with these guys, as they will
all no doubt leave their mark as they venture forward to realise their plans,
hopes and dreams slightly better equipped now than they might have been just
It has been a pleasure to work with
you and get to know each of you…now let’s hear a few words from you all now.

Right, so now you know what the
inaugural TPV Apprentices thought about their journey over the last 100 days.
We already have a full complement for the Spring intake. If you wish to be
considered for a future TPV Apprentice Programme, then email
[email protected]and ask to complete the application screening survey. Remember though, you must
make the right impression and have the right stuff to get onto this programme,
as I only want to work with people with the right values and approach and where
I believe it would be a good fit for all involved.
So, if you want to talk about
anything from today’s show, or just talk property investing more generally, email
I would be happy to hear from you!
All that is left to say, is thank you
very much for listening once again this week and until next time on The
