We’ve had a few false springs so far this year. Or maybe just days that felt less like winter than the others. One of these days was punctuated by the cries of a winged raptor. One who naturally fled the scene as soon as the recorder was ready. In its absence the soundscape slowly evolved from one of silence to this rich tapestry of birdsong presented here.
