Join us for an insightful audio narration of the Southeast Asia region's reflection on the 40 themes from the Lausanne State of the Great Commission Report. In this episode, we will explore the major challenges and opportunities facing the Christian church in Southeast Asia, a diverse and rapidly developing region.

In this episode, we will cover several key topics that are shaping the Great Commission in the Southeast Asian context:

  • Family and Discipleship: The report highlights the importance of parental involvement in discipleship. We will discuss the challenge faced by many first-generation Christian parents who lack a model to follow and the need for churches to provide resources and mentoring to strengthen family-based discipleship.
  • The Role of Women: Despite increased educational and professional opportunities, gender prejudice persists in many parts of the region. The report calls for concrete steps to address these biases and highlights the vital role women play in the Great Commission.
